Site I like to visit

In this link you can find the site that I frequently visit. https://historia-arte.com/movimientos It is an art history site and has a lot of material to see as: artistic movements, biographies, works, articles, interviews, artistic techniques from painting, sculpture, photography, digital image etc. The page is very didactic, the images have good resolution and that helps when downloading them;  I recommend it to my fellow artists are going to learn a lot.

How good this site has that is easy to find, I use it frequently for the research jobs I have had to do for college and also for personal interest once or twice a week. .

One day looking for information about the Renaissance I found it by chance and it was great, there was what I needed.  I like it a lot because it is easy to read and gives me the guidance for other texts that are more complicated. And it's not designed only for students or teachers in the arts area like other sites, it's for everyone who really has an interest in art knowledge.  It's wonderful to visit her!!!

QUARANTINE

Quarantine

An quarantine by epidemic I never imagined. At first it was strange because I enjoyed the loneliness of my house doing a lot of things.  But time was passing and I went in distress because it has been many months that I am away from my family, they come to see me once a month and fill me with joy.

In winter I spend a lot of time in my bedroom, long hours reading, painting, listening to music and watching TV. Also another place I like is the kitchen because it is always warm, it has good fragrances for the meals that are prepared there and place where we meet as a family when we are all at home.

In times of pandemic I recommend reading, listening to music, watching movies, cooking and working in the garden which is my other passion.

The first thing I'll do when the pandemic is over is to reunite my whole family, my husband my children, my mother, my brothers, uncles and nephews to enjoy a rich lunch, with good music. And also spend the rest of the afternoon chatting, playing guitar and counting anecdotes.

A PHOTOGRAPH YOU LIKE

A PHOTOGRAPH YOU LIKE

This photograph I took on a holiday trip we did with my husband to Towers of the  Paine Park, in the summer of 2018. We were going down the road from Port Natales when suddenly on a curve we see this wonderful landscape with this family of guanacos. It was a bright day in the morning and some clouds.

I like this image very much because it has wonderful colors and contrasts the greenish yellow grass with the gray blue of the sky.

The truth was that it was a hit because these animals do not let themselves be photographed. They are very fast and can reach 56 km per hour; when they feel a vehicle they escape at full speed.

The guanacos are elegant, slender, long legs, long neck and small head. They are between 1 1.2 meters tall and weigh about 90 kilos. The color of their fur is an advantage, as they are camouflaged with the landscape.

They live from northern Peru to southern Chile.
